10 Reasons WWE Doesn't Need Vince McMahon

10. The Production Has Become Stale

WWE has been on TV for decades at this point, and behind the scenes for that entire time is a man names Kevin Dunn. His official role is the Executive Vice President of Television Production, and what that means is that every camera movement, every edit, every vignette goes through him. He€™s defined what professional wrestling looks like on television, and is considered one of Vince McMahon€™s right hand men. Dunn€™s also become somewhat of a villain for many fans over the past few years due to more and more stories accumulating of him being an awful boss to work for. He€™s responsible for the shaky cam that fans hate, and the WWE€™s move away from €œprofessional wrestling€ and towards €œsports entertainment.€ He has Vince€™s ear in a way that few do, and if reports are to be believed, a war is brewing backstage. Dunn is said to be worried about the growing influence of Triple H, and he knows that when Triple H takes over he€™ll be bringing in his own people, so to speak. As a result, Dunn has been reportedly trying to sabotage the stars from NXT who are considered Triple€™s €œguys€. By doing this, Dunn puts the entire future of the WWE at risk. Vince McMahon is fiercly loyal to Kevin Dunn, so until Vince retires, the production and future of WWE TV will stay stuck in the late-nineties.
