10 Reasons WWE Fans Should Believe In Roman Reigns

10. Would You Rather John Cena Is Champion, Again?

John Cena could have won his 16th world title on Sunday if he came out on top in the epic triple threat match with Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins. No matter what anyone says, a Cena win would have undoubtedly been greeted with the same unrest as the rest of his recent title reigns have. Fifteen world title reigns in less than 10 years is far too much for anyone in the professional game, no matter how much they sacrifice to be the leading man of the world's biggest wrestling promotion. A 16th could have been terminal for the older generations of WWE's Universe. Cena's status as the guy that is shoved down our collective throats makes him more of a hate figure than most. The apparent heir to his throne is Roman Reigns so WWE need to be careful how they handle their Big Dog. His stop start performance in Sunday's Rumble, coupled with CM Punk's revelations of how last year's competitors were told to 'make him look strong,' suggests he is being given an easy route to the top. WWE needs to make earn his inevitable spot as the leading man. Cena thrives off the polarising opinion he has but the powers that be must be left tearing their hair out as they book him in positions that should leave him as an undeniable babyface, and nothing else. They won't want history repeating itself it Reigns.
