8. The Rest Of The Main Eventers Are Delicate And/Or Unsuitable
Who would you consider to be the current main event roster in WWE? Brock Lesnar, John Cena, The Rock, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt. Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Rusev and Roman Reigns? Let's dissect that list of grapplers and show why you need to believe in Reigns. Brock and The Rock are bonafide part timers. Cena's schedule is bound to decrease soon due to age and wear and tear. Orton has shown that he is susceptible to a number of long term injury lay offs during his time working for Vince McMahon. While the same accusation could be labelled at Bryan, whose neck is believed to be a ticking time bomb with one wrong bump potentially ending his career. It must be noted, Roman has just returned from a severe hernia injury which should put him in the same boat as the other men mentioned. However, the injury he suffered was considered to be a bit of a freak and could happen to anyone at any time. He also hasn't had any career threatening injuries to date and looks strong as ever. The youngest of the five other main eventers mentioned is the leader of the Yes Movement who celebrates his 34th birthday in May. Bryan's wife, Brie Bella, has stated on Total Divas that she and her husband plan to leave WWE and start a family in the coming years which means D-Bry isn't a long term option. That leaves us with Rollins, Wyatt, Ambrose and Rusev. The four up and comers in the WWE. You don't need me to tell you why Messrs Wyatt and Rusev can't be considered to be the face of the WWE. Their gimmicks and looks count against them, Ambrose's gimmick the same which means the only feasible contender to lead WWE into the future is Seth Rollins. He has the look, the wrestling ability and the charisma. He could potentially fill the role when his inevitable face turn arrives. It will take a shift to good guy territory to do this as you can't have a heel being a role model to the millions of children that watch WWE.
