10 Reasons WWE Fans Should Boycott WrestleMania 31

10. The Crowd May Hijack The Show

Can you imagine Roman Reigns battling Brock Lesnar in the main event while the announcers are trying to sell it as a match and the crowd chimes in with "CM Punk! CM Punk! CM Punk!". It would ruin the entire main event and embarrass the WWE. Imagine a UFC fighter getting showcased after leaving the company and bashing the owner on the way out. The past two Royal Rumbles have also seen crowds soundly reject the supposed babyface who won the match. Last year, the Pittsburgh crowd completely turned on the show, mocking the John Cena-Randy Orton title match and hijacking the Rumble match by chanting for Daniel Bryan. Even career babyface Rey Mysterio was met with a chorus of boos when he came out as #30. The crowd so soundly rejected the booking decision that WWE was forced to call an audible and insert Daniel Bryan into the main event of Wrestlemania XXX. This year, the Philadelphia crowd was treated to an excellent title match but completely turned on the Rumble itself once Daniel Bryan was eliminated far earlier than the crowd expected. It also didn't help that fan favorites like Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler were unceremoniously eliminated by the has-been team of Big Show and Kane. If things don't change soon, WWE could be facing a major problem when Reigns comes out for the main event. The Wrestlemania crowd is usually made up of hardcore wrestling fans who have very little tolerance for WWE at the moment. Unless WWE calls an audible, they could see their next big babyface booed out of the building on the grandest stage of them all.
