10 Reasons WWE Fans Are Sick Of John Cena

3. He Is One Dimensional

WWE.comWWE.comNothing changes him, no one can get to him and no one can put him off his game. He respects those that hate him and wishes them no ill will. He will fight against all odds, he will always come out swinging and no one can hold him down. Does all of that sound familiar? It should. The above statements accurately describe John Cena. And fans know it's true, they hear it all the time. They hear it primarily from John himself. His routine is very routine, he continuously does the same thing all the time. He is the same person, he feels the same way and he fights the same way every day. At this point, John Cena has become more charicature than character. And it does not appear that will change any time soon. John is so painfully predictable that it becomes fun for fans as they place bets on his behavior. And the bets do not hinge upon if he does something but just how soon he will do it. The fact is that John is WWE's top babyface, he is expected to play nice with fans despite how often he is criticized or how much he is hated. But from a character perspective, it makes no sense that John would not at least become a little frustrated with the vitriol that is aimed at him on a daily basis. And from John's own perspective, there would be no harm in admitting that it gets a little tiresome having to deal with all of the drama he's dealt and not be able to do a thing about it. But he will never do it. It's not happening. The John Cena that fans see before them is a John Cena that is incapable of any true evolution or depth of character because he is so incredibly one dimensional. And WWE likely wants him that way.
