10 Reasons WWE Fans Will Hate Sting Vs The Undertaker

2. Losing The Match Doesn't Really Hurt Either Of Them

Taker Sting Let's look at the other side of things now. What does either man lose by not being victorious in this match? Not a whole lot, really. Taker has already lost at Mania now, so another loss isn't exactly going to change the way people view him, his career, and his achievements. A loss to Sting isn't going to have people saying he isn't a Hall Of Famer. A Sting loss doesn't exactly change much, either. He comes in with little to no expectations in the eyes and minds of many of the fans, so you could almost say a loss is "expected" and a win would be a "pleasant surprise". With that said, what is the point, really? Neither of them really has anything going, so why even make the match? You can't put some sort of retirement stipulation on top of things to add intrigue, because nobody expects either of them to wrestle beyond WrestleMania 31, win or lose, anyway. Adding a title to the mix is only going to upset people, as neither of them should be holding on to any championships at this point. Neither man gains or loses anything by being in the match? That's a tough sell, even with two future Hall Of Famers involved.
