10 Reasons WWE Fans Will Hate Sting Vs The Undertaker

3. Winning The Match Doesn't Really Help Either Of Them

When putting a match together, you have to look at what is in it for the competitors. What do they gain from it? Sometimes, it's obvious... a title is on the line, revenge from a previous loss/injury, retirement. Other times, it isn't so obvious, and this would be one of those times. The Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania was why people kept challenging him. Shouldn't that hurt Sting's motivation? If he were trying to be the man to end Taker's streak, that would make sense, but trying to be the second person to beat him at Mania? That's a little weird. Taker, on the other hand, would be coming back to beat someone who, as already discussed, might not be the big-time legend in the eyes of many in the WWE Universe that the company would hope he'd be. A lot of it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense, really.
