10 Reasons WWE Fans Will Hate Sting Vs The Undertaker

8. Vince McMahon's Ego

When it comes to WCW, we've seen Vince McMahon's ego run wild on several occasions, getting in the way of delivering an entertaining product and making him more money, which is weird. You'd think a businessman would be all about business, and trying to line his pockets with as much money as physically possible. Apparently, that only goes for things that he personally created, and it kind of goes without saying that Vince didn't create Sting. That isn't to say that the match would be a two-minute squash victory for The Undertaker or anything, but a lot of people have a hard time believing that Sting would be booked to look like Taker's equal in the build to the match, and in the match itself. If the match isn't built to properly, it pretty much becomes a disappointment right out of the gate, before WrestleMania even arrives. Not only would Sting need to be booked strongly, you could argue that he would need to be booked to look stronger than Taker even, based on the amount of time he'd have to be in front of the WWE Universe. Nobody can count on Vince McMahon to make that happen. Someone like Triple H might be able to make it happen, but as long as he has to continue answering to Vince, people can't really be confident.
