10 Reasons WWE Needs To Shoot A Quick Face Turn On Bray Wyatt

10. He's Lost His Momentum As A Heel

When Bray Wyatt first appeared on WWE television, he immediately captivated audiences with his unique promos and aura. He has an undeniable charisma that reaches through the screen; he€™s wrestling€™s version of Rust Cohle. Backed up by his €œfamily€ of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, he was instantly a breath of fresh air from the rest of the cookie cutter sameness of the other talents. Crowds took to him because he was different and he was awesome. WWE has squandered all that. He€™s still over, but not anywhere near to the level he was prior to the John Cena feud. Honestly, wrestlers rarely come out of programs with Cena having been elevated in anyway, and that€™s an altogether different problem. That program, while being a focus of the shows, gave us an incredible video package, some so-so matches and a disappointing ending. The follow-up clash with Jericho had much anticipation but failed to deliver the classic that we hoped for. Part of the problem is that Jericho does his best work as a heel, and the other issue was that the two just didn€™t seem to have particularly great chemistry. In order to regain that momentum, Wyatt needs a fresh approach. A restart of sorts. And the best way to do that is realignment for the character.
