This is the big one, the dream match to end all dream matches. It's one that the majority of fans likely believed would never happen but now that Sting is part of WWE, it's one that must happen and it must go down at WrestleMania 31. Of course, if that is the plan then eventually the company will need to get started on developing the angle between both men. However, Mania is not until March 29 2015, which means that if Sting were to show up before the end of the year, that would still leave well over three months until he faces Taker. While this is perhaps too much time, the fact is that simply appearing on TV before the end of 2014 would surely lay the groundwork for the following year. All he needs to do is appear in conjunction with The Deadman's imminent return. The moment could come in the next few months, as Sting is supposedly looking for The Phenom. The actual confrontation would not need to happen until around February but just to tease it before 2014 ends would be enough to prep the WWE faithful for Mania. WWE made a mistake when it did not book Hulk Hogan versus Ric Flair and fans had to make do with that match taking place in WCW, where it arguably fell short of expectations. The company cannot make the same mistake now; Sting versus Undertaker must happen in a WWE ring.
