2. He Put Daniel Bryan Over Cleanly
There are those who believe WWE pushed Daniel Bryan in 2014 because they caved to fan pressure. Then, there are those fans who think that Bryan's eventual crowning at WrestleMania XXX was all part of a master plan designed to make people believe they were the ones responsible. In other words, WWE allowed the audience to think they pushed Bryan to the top, thus enabling a sense of ownership. Whatever happened behind the scenes, what went down in front of the cameras was undeniably awesome. In the opening bout of 'Mania XXX, Daniel Bryan toppled the tyrannical Triple H and thrust himself into the main event later in the show. From there, he went on to best Randy Orton and Batista in a Triple Threat encounter and leave the show as the brand-spanking new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H was very unselfish there, because it would have been simple for him to veto the suggestion that Bryan win and create an 'Evolution'-inspired scenario in the top line match. Instead of choosing that road, he made his younger peer look like a million bucks by losing to him cleanly. It was a wonderful moment, one which cemented Bryan as one of WWE's top babyface heroes.
