10 Reasons WWE Owes Triple H

8. Has That Old-School Touch Company Needs

Triple H is a professional wrestling fan, that much is for certain. A phrase routinely used to describe him is, 'student of the game', showing the passion he has for this particular entertainment medium. Over the years, the man has evolved from mid-level talent to outright Hall Of Fame-worthy star, but he has done so much more for WWE than simply wrestle well and work at the top of the card. WWE are often criticised by some for losing their identity, or at least attempting to distance themselves from the idea of being labeled 'pro wrestling'. This doesn't sit well with many wrestling fans, who think it's baffling that the company appear ashamed to be called what they clearly are. Triple H is the antidote to that, because he's a self-proclaimed lover of the industry and the old-school way of doing things. This is something others in the promotion should be thankful for, because that sits well with fans who feel the organisation suffers from genre confusion/identity crisis on occasion. Triple H clearly loves wrestling, and it's important that WWE stays in touch with that even when the group evolves and changes over time. He's also been there in the company when the chips were down (1995), so he knows what not to do.
