10 Reasons WWE Owes Triple H

7. Helping Get Ultimate Warrior In The WWE Hall Of Fame

According to the wife of the now-deceased Ultimate Warrior, Triple H was instrumental in brokering a deal between the jaded star and WWE in 2014. Indeed, Dana has said that 'The Game' was very persistent about the idea of inducting Warrior into the WWE Hall Of Fame just before WrestleMania XXX. Without his influence, would the deal have ever been suggested? For years, Warrior and WWE were at loggerheads. A notoriously hard-headed man, the former WWF Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion had butted heads with another proud individual - Vince McMahon - on more than one occasion over the years. In 2005, the promotion even produced a smear piece, entitled 'The Self Destruction Of The Ultimate Warrior', a DVD solely intended to discredit the legacy of the performer. Triple H's plan was to try and mend fences with Warrior, enabling him to be part of the marketing for WWE's 2K14 video game in 2013. From there, he successfully convinced both Warrior and McMahon that the guy deserved induction to the Hall Of Fame. Shortly after being honoured, Warrior passed away, making Triple H's idea even more important, not to mention well-timed.
