5. Jim Ross And Jerry Lawler Are A Dud
Jim Ross has become a bad commentator. You know it, I know it, mama knows it, Vinny the butcher knows it, Father Sapienza knows it. Even my cousin Louie who don't know nothin' bout nobody knows JR sucks now.
But even as JR has become lethargic and disinterested with each and every announcing gig he gets, it's still a shame the way he and King were underutilized. Here was the signature commentary team of Monday Night RAW being shoved away in the Manhattan Center given little to do. And given how there're pictures of them asleep at their desk, it's clear they were bored out of their skulls, just as the Hammerstein crowd were.
Really, it just felt sad to see JR and King like this. WWE trotted out two men past their primes as commentators, but instead of helping them and reminding people of how great they were and what they meant to RAW, WWE just put them in short spurts that made them look old and tired.
