10 Reasons WWE SmackDown Is Already Better Than Raw
6. People Getting A Chance
The WWE is a tough place, and not everyone gets their chance to shine. In fact, it's that very thing that makes the brand split seem like a good idea. With two smaller rosters, WWE has to look beneath the surface and give time to people who have maybe been pushed into the background in the past. SmackDown is already showing signs of doing that.
In the first few weeks Baron Corbin, Kalisto, Becky Lynch, and Apollo Crews have all been essential parts of the show. All four of those talents are great wrestlers but on the humdrum of Raw they tended to get overshadowed. Other men and women were seen as more important.
On SmackDown, these wrestlers get a chance to shine. They can carve out a spot for themselves and show off what it is that brought them to the dance. The more talented performers on TV each week, the better, and SmackDown looks like they are all set to hand the ball to a few of them already.
