10 Reasons WWE Will Bring WrestleMania To The UK Soon

3. The History

Summerslam 1992 at Wembley Stadium has gone down in history as one of the biggest WWE events ever and given the record setting 80,355 attendance achieved 24 years ago, it is clear tickets would be in high demand for a repeat. Perhaps SummerSlam returning to the UK is a more realistic aim compared to Wrestlemania - but bringing the Show of Shows would signal WWE's intention to break even more records this time round.

It would be poetic for history to repeat itself at Wembley 25 years later but Orlando (and Minnesota if rumours are true) means a 30 year anniversary return should now be the aim.

There have been 11 exclusive PPV's over the years broadcast from outside the United States and notable moments of WWE history have taken place at times. No Mercy was a UK PPV before it added to the US schedule, Insurrextion 2002 was the first ever brand specific PPV and One Night Only in 1997 was the last time the classic Red, White and Blue rope scheme was used. It seems fitting if WWE makes history again with a non-domestic Wrestlemania that the UK is granted the prestigious accolade.
