8. There Have Been Long-Standing Doubts From The Powers That Be

A report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter dated 20/08/2014 states: "While Dean Ambrose may be developing a strong following on his own pretty quickly in WWE, officials do not see him as being ready for a main event spot yet". The Shield had only broken up a couple of months prior to this report, so obviously WWE were going to have their doubts. The powers that be didn't know whether The Lunatic Fringe could stand on his own two feet on such a big stage. But why then, 18 months down the line, are they seemingly having the same doubts? Hasn't Dean proved anything in his rivalries with the likes of Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, and lately Kevin Owens? Give the guy a chance, WWE.
