2. He Always Wanted To Work Behind The Scenes
There are those who argue that Triple H is only in the position he is backstage because of being married to the boss' daughter. However, the fact that he always wanted a role behind the scenes (which admittedly might not have been as high as COO had he not become part of the McMahon family) goes a long way in showing his love and passion for the business. Unlike a lost of wrestlers, he never planned to just retire and fade into obscurity. Instead, it's a profession that The King of Kings set out to dedicate himself to, and that really should give fans more faith in him whether they believe he earned his way to the top or has been handed the reigns because of who he married. If the latter was truly the case, it's hard to imagine he would be taking such an active role in trying to better the WWE and ensure the future of the company. He cares, and has been working to this point for a long time.
