10 Reasons You Need To Buy WWE WrestleMania 31 Tickets
6. The Possibility Of Sting In A WWE Ring
If we're talking about people who could appear in a WWE ring at WrestleMania that would make the event historic, you have to talk about Sting. Sting is one of the only legendary names in the history of wrestling in North America over the last 30 years to never wrestle for WWE (wrestling on the final episode of Nitro, after Vince McMahon bought the company, doesn't count), and now that he has some sort of appearance deal with the company, that could change. Sure, Sting VS The Undertaker would have been the ideal match for him here, and now that Taker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania is over, maybe that match is out of the question... but is it? If you asked anyone before WrestleMania 30, they would have told you that "The Streak" actually complicated a Sting VS Taker match. On one hand, would you really bring Sting in just to lose in what probably would have been his one and only WWE match? On the other hand, why would you have Taker's streak end to someone who certainly doesn't need that kind of "rub"? Yes, Brock Lesnar didn't need it, but in the ongoing storyline, it made sense, as it showed just how dominant and unstoppable Brock was. Now that "The Streak" is over, this could be the perfect time to see Sting and Taker face off, as there is no pressure. If you're going to have Sting win, he can do that now without anyone talking about what he "earns" by doing so. Even if the match isn't against The Undertaker, just seeing Sting wrestle for WWE would be a spectacle that you'd want to be there in person for. The atmosphere in the stadium for his entrance, and for the match itself, would be insane.
