Perhaps the best decision of the ill-fated Jeff Jarrett return saga was the decision to bring back L.A.X. While names like Matt Morgan, ODB and Magnus all came and went under his watch without much fanfare, the Latin American Xchange has hung around and continues to blow away anything going in WWE in terms of grittiness and realism.

Paul Heyman is considered the best promo man in the business right now by many fans, but Konnan can give him a run for his money on the stick. He’s that good. He so talented, he wouldn’t feel out of place on the vast majority of dramas on TV. As for the rest of the group, Ortiz and Santana are delivering at an incredibly high-level in the ring and continue to bust out innovative offense every time out. They’re as entertaining as any duo you'll find in WWE.

But every good team needs an equally good counterpart to battle. OVE has filled that role. When the Crist brothers debuted, they were as lame as you could get. They felt like Hardy Boy retreads and cut generic, yelling promos. With the addition of Sami Callihan, the stable has suddenly become...cool. The two teams have taken part in innovative backstage videos and bloody feuds that often steal the show. Everyone they now work with is better off for it.

A couple more acts like OVE and LAX and the promotion will really be on a roll.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
