10 Reasons You Should STILL Be Excited For WrestleMania 36

9. Sami Zayn Vs. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan and Drew Gulak vs. Sami Zayn, Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura has been a highlight since WWE's arenas emptied, with the fivesome providing the bulk of SmackDown's most watchable content through their backstage interactions, fun matches, and straightforward, logical narrative, maximising their meagre minutes every week.

The destination is a long-overdue match between Bryan and Zayn. Amazingly, these two have never gone one-on-one in WWE. You have to go back to PWG in February 2009 to find their last singles battle meaning that despite their tenure, this pairing is fresh, new, and exciting.

It's lazy to see "just look at the participants, of course this is going to rule," but, f*cking hell... just look at the participants, of course this is going to rule!

Zayn hasn't had a big-time singles bout in what feels like an ice age but remains one of the most well-rounded performers in the promotion. Bryan, meanwhile, is Bryan. A certified wrestling genius, he solidifies his status as an all-time great every time he steps between the ropes, meaning all concerns relating to Sami's dodgy shoulders will be assuaged by a masterful layout, high workout, character, and sublime technique. The match is going to rip - even if it doesn't break 10 minutes.
