10 Reasons You Should STILL Be Excited For WrestleMania 36

8. The Sheer Weirdness Of It All

Boneyard Match
WWE

The hell is a Boneyard Match? It'll share similarities with the Buried Alive stipulation and will go down in a cemetery-like setting filmed on a closed set, but that's all we know right now. The rest is a mystery.

Bray Wyatt and John Cena's Firefly Fun House match comes with similar allure, as we've been promised a big, cinematic feel similar to the former 'Eater of World's' Halloween House of Horrors from 2017. Will 'Big Match John' be taken out of his element in a twisted funhouse decorated with motifs from the Fun House's bright, colourful aesthetic, but haunted by 'The Fiend'? What will it look like and how will it feel? How does one win such a fight?

Beyond these wacky gimmicks, the empty building gives performers the freedom to experiment with things they may not normally be able to. They can brawl in sillier parts of the arena without fans getting in the way, talk to each other in character throughout, and, as we saw on SmackDown, literally murder each other with wacky sound effects.

And if it all goes t*ts up, the potential for accidental comedy is huge.

Whether these stipulations and ideas hit hard or dive into so-bad-it's-good territory, WrestleMania 36 could be a big, weird hoot.
