10 Recent Mistakes That WWE MUST Learn From

1. The Jason Jordan Debacle

Jason Jordan's current run might be WWE creative's biggest mistake of the year thus far.

Many fans rejected his unveiling as Kurt Angle's son the night it happened. From there, the former American Alpha man has been given an entrance theme that sounds like a bad cover of Angle's, saddled with a painfully vanilla babyface personality, and presented as a chump.

Curt Hawkins is the only active roster member he has defeated thus far. At SummerSlam, Jordan was worryingly pinned by The Miz, and one night later, he was soundly defeated by Finn Bálor.

The losses suggest that WWE may already be losing faith in Jason, but the fans are way ahead of them. Jordan hasn't been cheered at all since joining Raw. His crowd reactions usually consist of complete indifference, but the past few weeks have seen an increasing amount of jeers creeping in, which certainly doesn't bode well for his future.

Turning Jason heel looks like WWE's only option, but that brings no guarantee of success either. Jordan's a fine wrestler, but it's abundantly clear that the company chose the wrong guy for this role, and instead of pushing him forward, the angle has sabotaged his career. Perhaps booking a goofy father/soon storyline in 2017 wasn't such a good idea after all.
