1. Daniel Bryan's Big Announcement

Shortly after losing the SmackDown Tag Titles to The New Day at Extreme Rules, Daniel Bryan wore a spooked expression and teased that it was time he made a major, career-altering announcement. WWE then hastily set that announcement up for the very next episode of SmackDown, and posted non-stop about it on social media.

What would Bryan do? Retire? Leave WWE? Ditch Rowan? Go back to NXT?

The world is still waiting to find out. On the episode that was supposed to be "career changing", Daniel came out to make his announcement, was interrupted by New Day and didn't say a damn thing. All that happened was that Big E claimed Daniel wanted another crack at the tag titles he'd just lost. That can't have been it.

All talk of this "career-altering announcement" vanished after that routine segment. It hasn't been brought up again, and probably won't any time soon. Much like every other plot line or character trait on this list, it's been forgotten before concluding.
