7. Mojo Rawley's Mirror Promos
Believe it or not, there was a time when Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder had promise as a tag-team. That was in NXT, and it happened organically when main roster writers put a pen through Zack's name and told him to play the mentor role in development. When the duo hit it off and were called up, things changed.
Three years on, Mojo is staring at a mirror, shouting at himself to be better, appearing with some blue face paints around his eye and doing exactly nothing. He's another victim of this promotion's needless cancellation of gimmicks and character traits before they even get the chance to go anywhere or suck viewers in.
Rawley is being presented as a mid-90s jobber to rival Damien Demento.
What happened? Mojo went from improving his promo chops to wearing a bogus smashed mirror design on his forehead and chasing after R-Truth with the other grunts in the 24/7 Title picture. It's been totally forgotten that he re-debuted by squashing Apollo Crews on the 13 May Raw too.
