8. Shelton Benjamin Acting Weird

Shelton Benjamin is in that awkward period of a wrestler's career when they've got more to offer than they're allowed but will never get a push due to their veteran status. He's there to make other people look good, unless Chad Gable is near and WWE need to remind everyone that he's approx one inch shorter than most on the roster.

Weird, just like Shelton's other short-lived gig.

There was a few weeks there when Shelty B was asked something generic ("Shelton, what do you think of Kevin Owens' recent behaviour?", for example) backstage. Without answering, he'd look side-to-side, grin like a madman and then the scene would fade out. It was curious, if not especially electrifying.

Anyone wondering why Benjamin was suddenly acting like a mischievous school boy plotting schemes would've been disappointed to find out that WWE didn't know why. This was a time filler, nothing else. There's been no attempt to clarify Shelton's shifty reactions, and he doesn't do them anymore.
