1. Enzo & Cass

Whilst former partner Enzo Amoré desperately tries to claw his way out of the purple-roped Tuesday night doghouse, the injured Big Cass should reflect honestly on two rotten pay-per-view clashes and a fundamental lack of interest in his new heel persona since the pair's on-screen friendship collapsed in June.

With a distinct lack of interest in presenting competitive conflict, WWE threw away what could and should have been an emotive plot. Enzo summoned tears for the turn, and many fans expressed great sadness at the severance. The angle sunk quicker than the 'Smacktalker Skywalker' after a Big Cass big boot. As Amoré greased his way out of a shark cage at SummerSlam, the switch from devastation to dopiness in less than three months was complete.

The seven-footer will probably be feeling rather unlucky at the moment, but this knock may be paradoxically fortuitous. As the old cliché goes, time heals all wounds, and whilst Cass rehabilitates his physical ills, a chance presents itself for WWE to reunite the East Coast duo before too much irreparable damage is done.

A humbled Enzo and remorseful Cass coming together would add depth to their one-note unit, and afford both the opportunity to gain more confidence and experience before a potentially more satisfying rift further down the line.
