First and foremost, it's important to state that backing up Daniel Bryan was a fine role for muscular brute Rowan before he left WWE. The 'little and large' combo works, especially with workers who don't try to be more than their part should. In that sense, Dan and Rowan nailed it.

However, there's no arguing that Drew Gulak is a better worker overall. That's why he's here - together, Bryan and Gulak have more about them that Bryan's pairing with Rowan did.
