4. Sonya Deville Strikes Out On Her Own

The flavourless duo of Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose once sat awkwardly as one of those thrown together female tags. Together, they sucked. Sorry, but they did. Neither woman stood out and the whole MMA fighter teamed with Diva throwback combination was decidedly off.

How things change.

Deville's solo work since splitting from Mandy has been a journey of discovery for her and fans watching WWE's product. Suddenly, without much warning, she went from ponytailed UFC wannabe throwing air punches to vibrant, snarling heel who will stop at nothing to connive her way to the top, and it's brilliant.

Rose is shining alongside the lovable Otis too, but it's Sonya who deserves most praise. She was arguably in the tougher spot post-split, and she's successfully reinvented herself as a harder-edged character who has real potential to become the next female figurehead.
