WWE: 10 Wrestlers Who Had Multiple Finishing Moves
3. Sheamus
Finishers: Brogue Kick (2009-present), White Noise (2009-present), High Cross (2009-2011), and Cloverleaf (2011-present). Nowadays, Sheamus relies almost exclusively on his Brogue Kick to put away opponents in TV and pay-per-view matches. It's a devastating Bicycle Kick to the face, and it's believable as a finishing move. It even won Sheamus the World Championship at WrestleMania 28, and all it took was a Brogue Kick to the head of then-champion Daniel Bryan to end the match in 18-seconds. But earlier in his WWE career, the Celtic Warrior was known to use any of the four finishers attributed to him at any time, all with devastating results. The Brogue Kick, White Noise (an over-the-shoulder belly-to-back piledriver) and High Cross (running crucifix powerbomb) were used interchangeably for the first few years of Sheamus' career. Inspired by submission specialist- and WWE agent- Dean Malenko, Sheamus added the Cloverleaf as a certified finisher during his feud with Alberto Del Rio: Del Rio successfully got the Brogue Kick banned, and Sheamus needed a submission finisher to counter Del Rio's cross armbreaker. And while the High Cross has been retired by Sheamus, the Cloverleaf and White Noise both remain viable finishers, should the Brogue Kick have a hard time hitting its mark.
