10 Recent WWE Burials We Just Can't Explain

6. The Viking Experience

Not to harp on about this f*cking name, but what the f*cking hell is going on with this f*cking name?

Rhetorical because we all know the answer anyway, but it's a long, long way back for NXT's Hanson and Rowe as they begin life anew as Ivar and Erik on Monday Night Raw. Fans went...ahem...bezerk for them just days earlier at TakeOver: New York, but were forced to share their fury on Twitter when The War Raiders were hamstrung from the off with their new moniker.

The Viking Experience is clearly something imagined out of thick air at very short notice, but as is often the case with 2019 WWE, it begs multiple other trickier questions. Why were they called up if the name/act/idea wasn't yet quite right for Vince McMahon? Why were they positioned ostensibly as heels despite truly getting over huge as babyfaces since winning the developmental brand's doubles straps. And, again, what the f*cking hell is going on with this f*cking name?

The uphill battle for them on the main roster is the problem at large, but Triple H's latest masterstroke will be negotiating their NXT departure without Full Sail reducing the duo to parody. He'll need the kindness of his locals not to banter them out of the building.
