10 Recent WWE Storylines That Flat Out Sucked
1. Bobby Lashley's Sisters
The Storyline: Unhappy at Bobby Lashley's "lies" to the WWE Universe during an awkward sit-down interview with Renee Young, Sami Zayn decided to take it upon himself and investigate Bobby's family life. The heel brought Lashley's three "sisters" to Raw and revealed Bobby was an insecure bully who had been pulling the wool over everyone's eyes.
Why It Sucked: When WWE get comedy wrong, they get it wrong. This was a classic example of penning barely passable material and expecting poor Sami to make the most of it for 10-15 minutes as an increasingly bored live crowd yawned.
Keep in mind that WWE must have known about Lashley's subsequent mini-feud with Roman Reigns and that they planned to have him claim he was the right man to challenge Brock Lesnar. That only makes the whole sister fiasco more painful. Creative took a hot heel (Zayn) and a babyface fans were supposed to view as tough (Lashley), dressed up three male indy workers as women and crapped all over everyone involved from a great height.
This was God awful.
