10 Red Hot WWE Romances That Were Dropped Way Too Soon

4. Torrie Wilson/Billy Gunn

Billy Gunn returned to the WWE in summer 2003 after taking a few months off to recover from (yet another) shoulder injury. Reverting to his 'Mr. Ass' gimmick, he was given another healthy push on the blue brand. Realising this time around that perhaps a little something extra could be used to get Gunn over, after failing in 2000 with 'The One', the company gave him Torrie Wilson as a manager/love interest. After the whole Billy and Chuck thing it seemed that WWE wanted to send the 'right' message: Billy was definitely straight. Torrie and Billy were shown backstage making out and cheekily (pun intended) playing with each other's, erm, assets. Jamie Noble (who had in the storyline recently inherited a large sum of money) tried to buy a night with the Playboy cover girl. Every week Noble would ask Torrie and every week she would refuse, leading to the first (and last) Indecent Proposal match at Vengeance. Noble faced Billy with the stipulation being that if Noble won he would win a night alone with Torrie. The millionaire redneck did win and the date was set for Smackdown. Of course, it ended with Gunn coming into the hotel room and kicking Jamie Noble's a**, right? Wrong. It ended with a foursome between Noble, girlfriend Nidia, Billy and Torrie. Nidia and Torrie became best friends, Gunn suffered another shoulder injury and the whole relationship was dropped. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Di1ByLEGWBk
