10. Buddy Murphy

The current Cruiserweight Champion is arguably the division’s largest star, standing nearly six-feet tall and pushing the upper boundaries of 205 Live’s weight limit. While he only just captured the purple-strapped title last month in his home country of Australia, Buddy Murphy has been an impressive powerhouse since his debut on the cruiserweight brand.

His superior size and strength have often lent him an advantage over some of the show’s much smaller stars. However, in traditional cruiserweight fashion, Murphy is not afraid to fly when he needs to. While Mysterio is more likely to tear it up with some of WWE’s more noteworthy names, it would be fitting for him to again challenge for a Cruiserweight title. Having held the WWE’s previous incarnation of the belt, as well as the WCW version that preceded it, perhaps Mysterio may look to add the 205 Live version to his collection.

Though he may lack comparable experience, the burlier Murphy would likely prove a challenge for Rey. Still, he's overcome considerably bigger stars before. If it were to happen, a match between the two for 205 Live’s top prize would be a unique opportunity for Mysterio to re-establish his cruiserweight roots.
