10 Ridiculous Comics Starring Wrestlers

3. The Undertaker, Emissary From Hell

Right, so no we're firmly on the train to Crazy Town, it's the right time to start welcoming to the ring some of the most downright nuts wrestling comics ever produced. The Undertaker series from Chaos Comics certainly fits that bill to a tee, taking the supernatural elements of the 'Taker's backstory that are hinted at from time to time and running them straight out of the realms of sense and into a strange, sub-Spawn horror comic book. In this series, The Undertaker was the demonic warden of Stygian, a section of Hell where the "most dangerous" evil souls were held prisoner. From time to time he had to pop up to Earth, however, and remand some of those demonic souls who somehow manage to escape Death's clutches and start causing mischief. And how else does he return them to their rightful place in the underworld than by wrestling them...to death? The Undertaker comics were also memorable for casting Paul Bearer as an immortal Dr Frankenstein who had been experimenting on kids since the American Civil War and the 'Taker's brother Kane, who could shoot fire out of his hands and was just as talkative on the page as in the ring.
