10 Ridiculous Stephanie McMahon Ego Trips

6. Diva Dirt

A vintage moment of McMahonism, Stephanie McMahon's pointless power trip at the expense of AJ Lee (and the entire pathetically depleted Divas division) was one of the most senseless acts of selfishness since the heiress had first appeared on television almost 15 years earlier.

With a right to gloat having managed to gain a modicum of success in the league virtually forgotten and grossly understaffed, AJ Lee stood mid-ring on the June 13th 2013 edition of Monday Night Raw noting how she'd dominated nearest rival Kaitlyn as well as everybody else that dared to challenge for her title.

That was all Stephanie needed.

Though she wouldn't nor couldn't ever actually wrestle Lee, Stephanie emerged ready yet again to talk down to a top heel despite the complete lack of awareness that she too, was mostly despised.

Cutting an abhorrent promo, she brushed off all of AJ's story-driven bravado and callously declared 'I'm a McMahon. Nobody does crazy better than us. And you may be Divas Champion, but please remember that I can take all of that away from you. If I want to, you won't have a job anymore'.

AJ had not a single riposte. How could she? God forbid she not be under threat of losing her job for being a good wrestler. It was at this point, Kaitlyn emerged to set up a rematch with Lee, but ever the opportunist, Stephanie took her down too!

'I'm going to give you a bye...Do not ever interrupt me ever again' she said, scorching the former Champion where she stood. For the woman that 'started a revolution', it was a remarkable incineration of all that dared to share her gender.
