10 Ridiculous Tag-Teams WWE Missed Out On

3. 'Hammer & Nailz' (Greg Valentine & Nailz)

Before he decided to choke the bejesus out of Vincent Kennedy McMahon over money and leave the company, Nailz was a feared heel who looked like he might feud with The Undertaker. That would've made him the latest monster to go nose-to-nose with 'The Deadman' (lucky 'Taker, eh?).

Or, how about 'Hammer & Nailz'?

Oh yes, it's absolutely staggering that nobody in the WWF thought about this team. Greg Valentine's workmanlike 'Hammer' nickname would've mixed very well with the former inmate, especially if Nailz dropped some of his psychotic tendencies and started showing off more of the ring skills he'd shown in the AWA earlier.

As cheesy as this is, it wouldn't have been any more sickening than Greg's run alongside the Honky Tonk Man as 'Rhythm & Blues'. At least Valentine would've been able to keep his established nickname and avoid dressing up like an extra from the 'Eurosong' episode of Father Ted.
