10 Ridiculous Tag-Teams WWE Missed Out On

2. 'Fire & Ice' (Kane & Dean Malenko)

If there's one thing Kane has repeatedly shown over his lengthy career, it's that he can take pretty much anything WWE gives him and make something of it. The formerly-chargrilled brother of The Undertaker has formed successful teams with everyone from 'Taker and X-Pac to Daniel Bryan and The Hurricane.

Working with a savvy in-ring technician like Dean Malenko wouldn't have phased him.

Malenko needed something like this when he was struggling to settle into the WWF at the turn of the millennium. Taking his old 'Iceman' nickname, lopping the end of it and becoming 'Fire & Ice' alongside Kane might have led to better things for Deano. Who knows? It would've been better than teaming with Perry Saturn as the unwanted remnants of The Radicalz.

Dean's dry sense of humour (something he managed to show flashes of when playing a James Bond-style ladies man in late-2000) could have blended with Kane's own willingness to take the p*ss out of his topsy turvy lore. This is one that got away.
