4. vs. Nigel McGuinness - ROH World Championship (7th Anniversary Show)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdsBa9_XzpY Theres something special about KENTA matches that take place in New York City. Its the perfect storm of crowd reaction and the performer in the ring. This was KENTAs second opportunity at a Ring of Honor championship in New York City, and the circumstances were similar to the first one. Nigel McGuinness had been champion for well over a year, and the constant defenses were breaking his body down. He had torn both biceps and was essentially wrestling without arms. Much like KENTA attacked Bryan Danielsons separated shoulder, he unleashed his kicks directly at Nigels biceps throughout the match. With Nigel physically impaired, it was up to KENTA again to carry the match by taking some big bumps, including Nigels Tower of London (a type of cutter with the opponents feet on a high place like a turnbuckle) onto the arena floor. KENTA ended up tapping out again (similar to his match with Danielson), but thanks to his performance and Nigel gutting it out, it was one of the best matches of an admittedly down year in Ring of Honor.
