4. Adam Cole
I might as well talk about O'Reilly's former tag team partner whilst we're here. Believe it or not, but Cole was actually the less interesting of the two in FutureShock, coming across as a Create-A-Wrestler before anything had been applied. All it took was one Hybrid Rules match against O'Reilly and a gruesome image of Cole's mouth spewing blood, and a charismatic superstar was born. Well, not quite. Over the last few years Adam Cole has become one of the finest heels on the independent scene, taking the 'prick heel' character to previously unseen heights. He gets the right type of heat in the right type of manner, his 'Panama City Playboy' personality annoying all and sundry. Cole is also the longest reigning PWG Champion of all time, which is no mean feat in a company known for their long title reigns. He has been rather injury-prone over the last 18 months and his career has somewhat stalled, but a man of his talent won't be out of the spotlight for too long.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
