10 Ring Of Honor Wrestlers WWE Fans Need To Discover

3. Dalton Castle

Ring of Honor can be rather serious more often than not, and as such one man stands out like the sorest of thumbs. That man is Dalton Castle, the flamboyant showman with peacock feathers and more eccentricities than a box of erm, eccentricities. He does handstands in the shower in order to clean himself properly, a fact that nobody ever needed to know. Castle, who is known as Ashley Remmington (an equally delightful character) in CHIKARA, used to be accompanied to the ring by his 'Boys', two guys who would essentially act as Castle's slaves. They would form a human chair for the man to lounge on. In many ways, Castle comes across as a particularly friendly and fun Roman God that just happens to find himself in 2015. It was inevitable that he would feud with Silas Young, and their battles may not yet be over. Young currently has Castle's Boys, and as a result Dalton has been less flamboyant recently. If Castle and his boys are reunited, I would expect tears to flow.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
