10 Rivalries That Will Define WWE In 2018

3. Roman Reigns Vs. Dean Ambrose

If Roman, as expected, emerges as the de facto face of the company from WrestleMania, and the newly-heel Dean Ambrose scores a win over Seth, then a clash between the duo is almost inevitable somewhere down the road.

And since both of them have remained on the side of good since The Shield went their separate ways three years ago, this would be a feud that we haven't really ever got a chance to see (at least not without the peripheral involvement of Seth Rollins).

On paper, its outcome seems like a foregone conclusion. The Big Dog, fresh from his New Orleans coronation, would probably be deep into a long and meaningful run with the belt by the time they meet, with his opponent - as ever - struggling to shake off the tag of B-plus player.

But things can change. If Dean generates some heat off the back of his heel turn, he could at last become the main event talent of which we all think him capable, beating his fellow Hound of Justice at, say, SummerSlam to right the wrongs of his disappointing 2016 title reign. We probably shouldn't hold our breath, though.
