It’s no secret that Vince McMahon loves a manly man, and you don’t get many men more manly than 'The Last Real Man (in Professional Wrestling)', Silas Young. An old-fashioned brawler, Young has had fantastic feuds with the likes of Dalton Castle and seems ready made to slot into WWE.

For in a world where wrestlers have moved away from the testosterone fuelled images of the past, Young stands out as a throwback. You can already picture him being slotted into the mid-card and berating Breezango or Sami Zayn for their lack of testicular fortitude. It’s not the most complicated story in the world, but it would work.

Young has been wrestling since 2002 and has been popping up in Ring of Honor since around 2007. However, it’s only in the last couple of years that he truly seems to have found his groove. At the age of 37, he’s got a few years left in him yet, and you could picture those being spent in WWE.
