10 Roster Moves WWE Must Make After SummerSlam 2017
1. Randy Orton To Raw
From an in-ring standpoint, nobody has had a weaker 2017 than Randy Orton. His two pay-per-view matches with Bray Wyatt were pure WrestleCrap fodder, with the House Of Horrors nailed on for 'Worst Of The Year' honours, and his bouts with Jinder Mahal haven't been much better. Their recent Punjabi Prison match was particularly atrocious, and while 'The Viper' has provided no indication of his next move, he needs to get away from this nonsense.
Randy Orton on SmackDown has become a poisonous relationship. He is currently putting on some of the least exciting performances in the ring and on the microphone, and has rarely looked as unmotivated as he does today. Nobody needs a change more than him, and while big title opportunities will fall on his lap wherever he goes, he has plagued the WWE Championship scene for too long.
There's no guarantee that moving to Raw would reignite 'The Viper's' flame, but he has spent the past few months dragging SmackDown down with him. WWE would need to keep him as far from Wyatt as possible, but with fresh matches against the likes of Samoa Joe potentially on the table, a change would likely do Orton good.
