10 Roster Moves WWE Must Make After WrestleMania 34
3. Randy Orton (SmackDown-Raw)
Seeing Randy Orton traded to Raw in return for Samoa Joe to SmackDown would lend some main event credibility to Joe and liven up Randy's act in one fell swoop.
There's little left for Orton to achieve on SmackDown. Even if he does become United States Champ at WrestleMania 34, his time with the belt will only get in the way of rising names like Bobby Roode; much like Baron Corbin eventually did during his own stint with the title, Roode would look like a loser who couldn't sustain success by losing to Randy.
On Raw, a show Randy hasn't been part of since 2016's Draft, there's something to be said for matches between Orton and The Miz too. The Intercontinental Champion is the kind of respected WWE stalwart who can joust with Randy without losing face.
Just keep him away from Bray Wyatt and everything will be fine.
