8. Neville

He may no longer be an active member of the WWE roster due to a contract dispute, but make no mistake about it: Neville was one of the best parts of WWE TV in 2017.

What would the Cruiserweight division look like without Neville? Well, watch any episode of 205 Live from the last few months and you'll get your answer. He held down the division for nearly nine months, holding the WWE Cruiserweight Championship hostage for almost all of that time.

Even with Neville around, 205 Live wasn't must-see TV, but he did elevate the entire division with his lengthy reign as champ. He was also an example of someone who properly maximized his time, despite not being given much of it on Raw in 2017. This included his best promos to date and excellent matches with Akira Tozawa, Jack Gallagher, and Rich Swann.

Unfortunately, The King of the Cruiserweights was never able to mix it up with the heavyweights last year, but if he ever does decide to come back, here's hoping he'll be a part of the rest of the roster where he belongs and not on 205 Live.
