Big Van Vader was one of the most feared wrestlers of the 1980s and '90s, with a path of destruction that took him through WWE, WCW, New Japan, All Japan, and European and Mexican promotions. Vader racked up world title wins in almost every company for which he competed, and even if he hadn't, the size and skill of "The Mastodon" would have been enough to strike terror in the hearts of opponents and fans.

His son wasn't similarly blessed. Jesse White already suffered from not having the same intimidating look as his father (he resembled a slightly larger Miz), and his lack of in-ring ability was the icing on the cake. Still, he got a developmental deal with WWE, competing in Florida Championship Wrestling as Jake Carter and holding the FCW Tag Team Titles with Corey Graves.

When FCW became NXT, Carter made the jump, but his fortunes started to turn. He racked up a ton of losses, and was eventually released in 2013. He appears to have since retired.
