10 Secret Hidden Weaknesses Of Your Favourite Wrestlers

9. Brock Lesnar - Diverticulitis

So rarely used in his WWE matches despite it being such a huge part of his UFC demise, Brock Lesnar's life-threatening bout of diverticulitis in 2009 was the one ailment that betrayed his otherwise-indestructible aura.

A tank of a man, Lesnar carries himself as a 'Beast' without flaws and opponents look every bit tougher when they locate even the smallest weak spot or notice a backdoor that might offer them a win without it. But Brock's a smarter performer than he's given credit for, and the one time he offered up his kryptonite was easily one of his and opponent Finn Bálor's best ever WWE matches.

Their vicious 2019 Royal Rumble sprint was the stuff of dreams for those bored of the Lesnar-smashes-everything and Main Roster Bálor brackets general. Going just 8:40 on a card that needed loads of trimming elsewhere, the dodgy guts of the former UFC Champion were targeted by the man who ends matches slamming both feet through his opponents' stomach. An inspired, surprising and captivating choice, the entire tone of the battle pivoted between panic from the Champion and hard-nosed brutality from the Challenger - a complete 180 from how these things go.

Bálor couldn't get it done but this was a delightfully rare example of WWE having one person go over and the other get over. Brock survived, while Finn got to play warrior-for-the-night even in defeat.
