Yes, it’s true. Solo admitted last year that he was concerned WWE might be “messing” with his hard work on NXT by promoting him to SmackDown. In short, the dude didn’t really fancy being called up to the main roster as “Solo Uso”, or something like that. Things have panned out pretty well for Sikoa though

He even described that recent main event tag opportunity at MITB as his “WrestleMania moment”.

It's incredible to think that Solo looked on at The Bloodline's developing story in 2022 and thought, 'Hmm...nah, that's not for me'. He didn't dislike the storyline, but fretted WWE could fudge his own career by dropping him in as background noise for a few months.

Thankfully, Sikoa has been able to work with his brothers rather than diluting their spotlight or derailing his own potential. He's surely glad that proposed NXT Title tilt was scrapped in favour of becoming The Bloodline's latest member last September.
