10 Secrets Behind The Rise Of AEW
2. Continued Success
Sorry to remind you about the worst friends you have to retain on Facebook for political reasons with this motivational quote, but every success does create new opportunities.
The continued success of AEW has allowed the promotion to expand and recruit. Countless performers are over to varying degrees. It's easier to list the few that don't generate a loud reaction. If AEW was as bad as some of you are desperate to believe, they wouldn't have convinced CM Punk, Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson to sign contracts. It's really that simple. It's one thing to beckon the disillusioned WWE performer with similar money. It can't get any worse than 50/50 booking and scripted promos that make them look like complete d*ckheads.
It's another to draw talents that were at or were heading towards the top of WWE - and the one man that at one point never wanted to come back.
AEW continues to thrive because they've reversed every f*ck-up and generated trust in the process. The Dark Order December 18 debacle ultimately led to Mr. Brodie Lee's awesome run. The Revolution 2021 dud, the fault of an external production unit, allowed Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston to get over as a piss-funny wise-cracking double act. A bad Dynamite is always an aberration.
This is no real secret.
AEW does the work and gets the reward.
